Dive Deep into How SIP Calculator work!

You don't have to be a math-whiz to figure it out! Our SIP Calculator works on the following formula:

M = P x ({[1 + I]n - 1}/i) x (1 + i) Sounds Greek and Latin? We'll decode it! M = the amount you receive upon maturity P = the amount you invest at regular intervals n = number of payments you have made i = periodic rate of interest Now, say you want to invest INR 1000 per month (P) for 12 months at 12% periodic rate of interest (i). Your monthly rate of return will be 12%/12, which is 0.01. And so, M = 1000 x ({[1 + 0.01]12 - 1}/0.01) x (1 + 0.01) which gives you approximately INR 12,809* approximately in a year. *The rate of interest on a SIP will differ as per market conditions. It may increase or decrease, which will change the estimated returns.
